"My lord, this is the servant I'm asking you to consider," Ismael said to his father. They were within the Duke's workplace. As he pointed out Kael beside him, the Duke thinned his eyes

His sight focused on the floor. His mouth nearly opened the moment that Ismael introduced him to the Duke.

The young boy beside him was supposed to call the Duke his father. Then why would he still address him as his lord?
