Bab 17: Servous Propier

"You don't know what to believe anymore, Servous. Is that the way you should conduct yourself?" An old man said. He was holding a rope in his hands. He was smiling at the young boy, who seemed weak to move. The boy was pitiful to look at. He was dirtied all over his clothes and slumped on the floor

The young boy felt as if he had been cursed by something. He couldn't breathe. He was choking for air. With a bit of his strength left, he lifted his head only to see a very familiar figure. The old man was laughing at the young boy's situation. That's when the young boy realized he wasn't even worth it

"You never know who to trust, Servous. Don't you know that everyone you trust will only betray you in the end? Don't think too much about them, don't let them in, don't be too kind to them, be pretentious, be vicious and be terrifying," An old man with golden blonde hair said. He had those purple eyes that seemed to observe how his son would react
