Bab 237: Dragon Lessons

My mind was wandering ever so slightly, wondering what Nathan would have needed the money for. He had been periodically sending me money to hold onto, eventually reaching quite a sizable amount. It wasn't enough to upend the economy or anything like that, but it was a significant chunk, about several hundred gold coins.

"Hey. Are you paying attention?"

Lumi had her arms crossed, looking at me a bit grumpily. I blinked a few times, snapping out of it.

"Ah. Sorry, I wasn't really."

Lumi let out a small sigh.

"I suppose I can at least give you credit for being honest."

She took in a deep breath, stiffening her face like she was a sergeant or something.

"For starters, let me see how familiar you are with manipulating mana. Place those crystals you brought on the table in front of you, then try to siphon their mana."
