The caller ID showed that it was Lu Ning. It was already 10 o'clock in the evening. According to country C's time, it should be 11 o'clock in the evening. Why was Lu Ning calling at such a late hour? Could something have happened?

Guo Miao picked up the phone.

"Hello, is this Guo Miao? Are you free to speak now?" 

Guo Miao was a little confused and nodded.

"Uncle doesn't really know how to make international calls. He asked me to tell you that your grandmother has passed away. He might have to go back to the village to attend the funeral in the next few days."

Grandma?

Guo Miao's phone fell to the ground with a loud thud. Tong Pei, Encai, and Enya all looked at her.
