Bab 59: Sick Family

It took a while for Gemma's heart to stop beating so fast like it was about to jump out of her chest.

Whatever little appetite she had completely flown out the window as kept looking at Julian's bleeding arm.

He was silently groaning in pain as he held on to it. From the look of things, he won't be taken to the hospital until the dinner is over.

Her eyes went to the women in Miguel's family and they were all busy eating their food as if nothing had happened. It seemed like pulling out guns and shooting their family members in the arm was part of their dinner routine. What sort of a sick family is this?

Her mother was obviously not happy with Julian being left bleeding on her expensive carpet, but she didn't say anything about the situation either.

"You should eat your food," Miguel said to her in a low tone his eyes piercing her skin.
