Bab 42: Chapter 42: In The Night

Kinsley’s POV

Connor rushes out of the house without much of a departing nod, Terron’s hands roaming so far up my shirt that I’m surprised that Connor hadn’t waited a few seconds longer to catch a glimpse of what is underneath.

The warriors have moved out of our living room and with Connor going for a brief recess outside, we finally have a moment to ourselves.

I wrap my arms around Terron’s shoulders and kiss him endlessly, our tongues tangled and wrapped into a swirling bliss of sweetness and sexuality. I lift myself into his arms and he smiles throughout the making out session, carrying me effortlessly up the stairs.

He finds the first spare bedroom available and falls forward with me still clinging to his chest like a pup would hold onto its mother for comfort. I would like to think I’m also pressed under my mate for comfort, but in reality, I want a reason to release my anger.

“I want you,” I pant, saying the words out loud instead of in my head.
