Upon peering into the deep ditch, Su Chengyu said, "This looks like a burial trench in which numerous bones are piled up. Judging by the scale of this, at least a thousand must have been buried in this pit."

On hearing this, Lin Chuxue and Yu Yanshu walked over to the ditch, peering down and indeed finding many layers of white bones, sending shivers down their spines.

Su Chengyu took the lead onto the stone bridge. Seeing that there was no imminent danger after they had stepped onto the bridge, Han Jing and the rest followed in tow.
