Bab 211: Memories of friendship 6

River screamed when he saw this. "Ophelia!" Then he charged at Cyrus, punching him hard on the cheek, but the dark mist around Cyrus blasted him again, knocking him to the ground.

When Ashton saw Ophelia, he stopped fighting Esteban. His large dark angel wings appeared, which he flapped powerfully lifting himself off the ground. He caught her, cradled her little frame in her arms, and sighed as he saw how she was covered in bruises, which had gotten worse as she had taken a blow for her brother.

Ashton looked down to see Cyrus standing in front of River, who was struggling to stand on his own. He noticed Cyrus' eyes, one of which was in demon form and the other with a blue slit. 

"That's never happened before," River grumbled, squinting his eyes.

Cyrus walked slowly towards River, who finally stood up panting heavily.

Ashton's eyes widened in surprise. "He's going insane!" He was ecstatic.
