Bab 176: A dear nephew

"NO!" Darren screamed, but Arthur had pinned him so tightly to the ground that even when he struggled to stand, it was all in vain.

All of the mages murmured, wondering what was happening, and River only stared at Cyrus, his emotions well hidden.

"You have got to be kidding me." Ashton burst out laughing like a lunatic, and Cyrus rolled his eyes as if he had predicted Ashton's reaction.

"All right, let's go." River addressed Cyrus, who nodded.

"You, Arthur, and Freya, gather the mages and transport them to the small village hidden behind this mountain." Cyrus informed Ashton, who immediately nodded while still laughing.

Freya was in the crowd, tending to the injured mages. She was shocked to hear what Ashton and Cyrus were saying, but she kept her emotions hidden by focusing on healing the mages' wounds.
