Bab 651: I guess our child is really our child

Parents had such weird thoughts sometimes. Or perhaps it was just me.

Even while my heart ached from my baby's miserable wailing, I wanted to quickly show this face to Natha--not out of concern, but glee. It would be different if Shwa was crying because he was sick, but knowing he was missing me so much he cried so sorrowfully. I wanted to show off for a bit.

"Should we go to your Daddy's office?" I swayed my baby in contemplation but in the end, I decided to go to the recreation room across the nursery.

After all, I didn't want to disturb the people who were doing their best at the end of the working hours. As much as I saw my children as the most adorable things in the world, not everyone was fond of children or babies. The thought of someone feeling annoyed by my baby's cry, even if it was done secretly, broke my heart.
