Bab 402: We Should Go

"To head to Estrella," Ferdinand said with a gleam in his eyes.

'Right, we were supposed to go there and go all the way once the Assembly is over,' she gulped.

Arabella nonchalantly accepting a ring from another man, made Ferdinand want to mark her his completely, as if to remind her she had promised herself to him. And likewise, assure himself she was indeed his.

That was her mistake indeed. Maybe she could have asked the Pope for a bracelet or another item so it wouldn't be a ring. But it didn't cross her mind earlier. She noted to be more thoughtful in accepting gifts next time.

She was still used to her practices as an Empress in the past life to accept every gift given to her. After all, it was rude to reject a gift. Royals usually accept gifts even if it was clearly an insult or even if they plan to just throw it or give away the gifts they received later.
