Bab 215: When in doubt…

"Since I use many weapons, I can't say that I am a specialist, but… he shouldn't have been able to read my attacks like that… no one managed to do that before," Aion thought when he saw the enemy staring at him.

Aion could understand if a martial artist or someone that fought many enemies who used spears could read his moves… but not a smelly pirate. In any case, usually, the enemies would try to attack him while he was in deep thought. Still, he only saw the enemy being even more cautious of him… that was a first.

"Is information about me spreading around already?" Aion thought. "Well, it doesn't matter…"

The enemy was stalling for a time now for whatever reason, so Aion had to deal with him before the others were overwhelmed by numbers. Aion dashed at the enemy, and he kept charging even though he was within range. His thrusts still only hit the air, and his impatience was increasing while seeing the enemy moving backward so skillfully without turning…
