Bab 56: Old man Joon

After they left, the old man entered his wife's chambers to see his wife sitting with her back against the wall.

The old man froze. His wife had never been able to sit up for more than a year now, however, with just one treatment plan from the mysterious lady, his wife could sit up!

"Hong'er…" His eyes turned red. He rushed to his wife and hugged her. He didn't know what to say or how to let out what he was feeling, so he thanked her instead: "Thank you for persevering until our benefactor came, thank you."

The old man's eyes couldn't hold back the hot tears anymore as he bawled his eyes out like a child. His love for this woman in his arms was more than words can express. Thanks to General Su Yulan who gave him the courage, financial support, and inspiration to marry this woman.

Even though she was deaf and dumb now, Old man Joon still loves her like he used to.

"Thank you too for not giving up on me," The woman replied in a hoarse voice.
