Bab 44: Commissioner’s daughter

Journee had so much hope for today. She was finally going to strike on the Hall family business but the news she was getting left, and right was making her furious.

She was waiting for Kay's reply. "I was just about to call you. I don't have to go back to the tape. I just completed listening to the audio. They were talking and then Bobby, the tall goon who always remains by Theo's side called Zion and informed him about your raid," Kay talked as fast as he could. He dumped all the information in one go.

"No, no, no, shit! Shit! Shit!" she shrieked at the top of her lungs. "I will call you back." She slapped the glovebox before her, hard. The lid of the box fell open with her strike. In anger, she slammed the lid shut.
