Upon returning to the stronghold, Kazuichi found Jurou waiting by the central command room, where maps and plans were scattered across the walls like veins branching outward. Jurou's expression was a mixture of curiosity and concern, clearly wondering what Kazuichi had seen and learned on his journey. Kazuichi met his gaze with a nod, exuding a calm confidence that belied the weight of his plans.

"I've thought of a new direction," Kazuichi said, his voice steady. "We need more allies, and I'm certain there are others further north—maybe even Nagano—who would be willing to join us if we can reach them."

Jurou's brow lifted, a flicker of surprise crossing his face. "Nagano?" he repeated, as if tasting the distance in the name. "You really think there are hybrids there willing to align with us?"
