Bab 267: Retreat?!

The wind howled, carrying the scent of death as Kazuichi stood face to face with the Gigantic Omega Zombie. Its hulking frame towered over him, a grotesque behemoth with decayed flesh that glistened with dark, oily fluids. Its bloodshot eyes burned with mindless rage, each exhale a growl that echoed through the barren wasteland.

Without warning, the massive creature lunged forward, its colossal fists slamming into the earth like twin meteors. The impact sent tremors through the ground, fissures splitting open beneath Kazuichi's feet. He barely had time to leap out of the way, feeling the rush of air as the monster's blow missed him by mere inches.
