Bab 237: Sendai

The city streets of Sendai, once vibrant, were now shrouded in an oppressive silence, broken only by the distant, guttural growls of the approaching Aberrants. As Kazuichi and his team hurried through the crumbling alleyways, their breath was ragged, adrenaline coursing through their veins. Every shadow seemed to pulse with the threat of an attack, and their escape felt more like a countdown to an inevitable clash.

It was Ayaka who spoke first, her voice low but resolute. "We can't keep running. If they're swarming us, we need to stand our ground and thin their numbers."

Kazuichi glanced at her, then to the rest of his team, seeing the same readiness reflected in their faces. "She's right. It's time to use everything we've got."

The group came to a stop in an open square, the once-bustling market now filled with overturned carts and shattered glass. The growls grew louder, closer. They had mere moments before the Aberrants and Omega Zombies would be upon them.
