Hue immediately covered her lips with his hand. “W-what are you trying to do?” he stammered. His mien was ashen. Huh, that was close!

If he was a second later, the only chance to claim her would have been lost.

Jennet opened her eyes and blinked innocently, “Since you didn’t give me a proper answer, I think you might not agree to let me reserve the kiss. So, I am about to kiss you to settle the problem.”

“Let’s save it for later,” Hue replied and, his tone softened. He gazed at her seductively.

Jennet pulled back and smiled, “Great. Thank you. I will go in and shop as fast as I can. You can continue to nap if you like.” Then, she pushed the door open and dashed from there.

When she was finally in the supermarket, she inhaled deeply. She took a dangerous move to deal with Hue again.

“Goodness, I have to be very careful about him from now on,” she reminded herself. Her heart was beating hard.
