On the other hand, Hue smiled as he lay closer to her under the blanket. As he watched her back, he raised his head and landed a loving kiss on the back of her head.

“Goodnight and, sleep tight. I will watch over you…” He whispered that only she could hear.

Jennet opened her eyes. Her heart was beating erratically but, she was oddly happy within. It was an indescribable feeling.

“Goodnight to you too,” she replied and closed her eyes tightly while trying to dismiss the tingly feeling she felt in her heart.

Hue smiled and, he leaned closer to her ear, “Hey, can we have a baby?”

That moment, Jennet felt goosebumps creeping her back. “If you keep talking nonsense, you will sleep on the floor after getting to taste the wrath of my fist!” she growled fiercely.

Hue whimpered and closed his eyes. To taste the wrath of her fists are the last thing he wanted in his life.
