Bab 227: The Palace Treasure Room (4)

"You have come!" 

Prince Algis was able to meet General Adelman in the drawing room after he finished his tea. He rose and saluted the prince before they sat down together at the table. 

"Have you been waiting? I had to get written permission from His Majesty earlier. He asked me to come and get him this morning!" Prince Algis explained the reason for his delay. 

It seemed that the King was trying very hard to get Prince Algis to give up on solving the Abbertus case. Normally, he did not pay much attention to how much attention the king paid to others. But when he saw this incident, he became a little suspicious. How could the king still try to defend Abbertus when he was openly in trouble? 

"I'll get ready first!" Prince Algis apologized for a moment. Then he retreated from the living room, leaving General Adelman alone.
