Bab 89: CHAPTER 89
A little distance away from the battle scene, Yuhao and Wang Qui'er sat down on rocks and rested after the tough battle they just survived just a few minutes ago, but just a few minutes into their rest, Yuhao got up in a hurry, as he was eager to return and meet up with his other companion, ignoring the fact that he was the most affected by their previous battle.
Wand Qui'er couldn't understand his hurry and asked if he was actually in a hurry to meet up with the other, or to meet up with Wang Dong'er, but Yuhao was adamant that meeting up with everyone, and meeting up with his Dong'er were equally important.
It almost turned into a minor argument when Wang Qui'er suddenly asked him to give their martial fusion skill, a name.
"... Hm? How about we name our fusion skill…"
"Fate of the Roaring Dragon… What do you think?" Yuhao thought and decided.
"It sucks…" Houryu's voice suddenly sounded out from behind them as he lay on the grass looking at the sky. Yuhao and Wang Quier were shocked that he was so close by, yet they somehow had not managed to detect him until he spoke.
"The name sucks balls…" Houryu continued but stopped as he hadn't noticed a response to his earlier statement and looked over at them and noticed their looks of shock as they looked over at him.
"Oh, don't mind me… I'll be tagging along with you guys until you meet up with your other companions, so do hurry up with moving and slow down on building your loving relationship," Houryu said in an irritated tone as he looked over at them.
"Why are you even back here, Mr. Don't need anybody's help." Wang Qui'er retorted as soon as she got over her initial shock at his stealth ability, not intimidated by him in the slightest bit.
"Did you hit your head too hard when you fell, and now don't remember that you said you don't need our help… Guess you found out that you couldn't get back to your pet and now you have to depend on us to find them." She continued.
"Wait…! Don't annoy him!" Yuhao quickly covered up her mouth to stop her from saying any more as he looked over at Houryu who was just staring at her with an open mouth.
"... I…"
Houryu, speechlessly, ended up pondering if he had made the right choice to even come here and maybe should have instead just gone on to try looking for Sylvia himself, ignoring the fact that it was an obviously bad decision, as he could end up missing them completely and may even end up getting lost in this huge forest… at least until he gets used to the new spiritual energy, which wasn't all that far off, maybe just a few days away.
"You talk like you're desperate for a spanking." Houryu finally replied Qui'er and then closed his eyes again, trying to ignore the annoying, but beautiful girl, throwing shades at him.
"And who's going to do the spanking?" Qui'er asked as she pulled Yuhao's hand off her mouth.
Houryu almost choked as he heard her question, but he remained calm, opened one of his eyes, and looked her directly in the eye, "I for one wouldn't mind doing it."
"You're not my father!" Qui'er retorted as a faint dragon aura started to come from her as she stared at Houryu, annoyed at his attitude.
"But I could be your da… ok stop, just stop," Houryu started to say, but stopped himself just in time, "stop ranting and focus on finding your companions so I can be on my way, also put away that tiny aura... we both know you can't beat me." He said and then closed his eye once more to wait for them to begin their search.
Qui'er was even more annoyed at his attitude as he basically ignored her as a threat, but she also understood that she really couldn't beat him, so she backed down and stopped releasing her spiritual energy, "Hmph."
Yuhao looked at Houryu and wondered about him as while they weren't friends or companions and he had almost killed them a few hours ago, he had suddenly not bothered and stopped being hostile to them for strange reasons, yet he and Wang Qui'er were almost always at each other's throats.
'What is his game?'
'Teacher Cai Mei'er called him, "Senior", meaning even if he wasn't that much more powerful than her, he is at least powerful enough to make her feel that much of a threat.'
'Apart from the fact that he looks way too young to be as powerful as the other powerful seniors that I've met, he is also way too benevolent and carefree to Qui'er's continuous insults at him.' Yuhao thought nervously, especially as his eye of destiny almost never reacted to Houryu's presence.
Yuhao quickly put all that behind him and began to move back towards the fight scene earlier with an annoyed Wang Qui'er following behind him. Shockingly every time he looked behind him, Houryu was always lying on the grass with his face towards the sun, seemingly napping, but the distance between them was always the same whenever he looked behind him.
They finally got to the location of their previous fight with the dark spirit master and Yuhao decided to use his mental detection to find something, and he also was going to use his spiritual fusion with Wang Qui'er to increase the effectiveness of the skill.
Yuhao and Wang Qui'er held hands, but instead of using his mental detection skill, Yuhao instead got caught in how soft and warm her hands were, but quickly caught himself when he saw Qui'er look at him weirdly. He tried to remove his hand from hers, but she caught his hand, "Stop thinking and search already." She urged.
"Hey, Lil blue, don't forget that you have a girlfriend before you start getting caught up in your new situationship." Houryu's irritated voice came from behind Yuhao, prompting him to be even faster with using his mental detection skill.
Yuhao managed to find a message left by Zhang Le Xuan, indicating the direction they had gone, and they began to start moving in that direction.
After a little while of searching, they paused for a rest and Yuhao brought out a few dried pastries that were stuffed with vegetables and meat and Wang Qui'er warmed it for both of them to eat. A few minutes into their eating, Yuhao got up and went somewhere.
Seeing them eat, reminded Houryu that he hadn't eaten in a while as well, so he brought out the holy grail… limited edition cup of tonkotsu ramen.
Unknown to Houryu, he was now being watched by Wang Qui'er as he brought out a bottle of water and heated it with his spiritual energy and then poured it inside the ramen cup, put in the spices and some prepared pork and boiled egg slices into the cup, so it'd all warmup together and then covered the cup with the lid and then closed his eyes again as he waited for the ramen to cook.
'What is he even doing?' Wang Qui'er wondered as she saw Houryu fiddling with something, but she couldn't see clearly what he was doing and didn't know that he was preparing something to eat, and they obviously didn't have cup noodles in the soul land world yet, so she couldn't recognize the ramen pack.
Three minutes later, Houryu's eyes opened, and he pulled out a pair of chopsticks from his spatial earring and then opened his cup of ramen, unleashing the heavenly scent of the ramen unto his surroundings.
Houryu quickly scooped some ramen with his chopsticks and was about to put it in his mouth when he heard a loud,
