Bab 522: Kidnapped?

"The other party only said that they want my parents to bring them to find their daughter and son-in-law, Xia Ru and the secretary," Xia Wan explained, recounting what she had heard from the shop assistant.

"What danger could there be in letting them help us find someone?" a young policeman muttered, recording the conversation.

Officer Song immediately turned and silenced him with a stern look.

The young policeman promptly closed his mouth and remained silent.

"Any other clues?" Officer Song inquired, turning his attention back to Xia Wan.

Xia Wan shook her head before adding, "Someone mentioned earlier that the document has returned.

"I'm not certain if this is related to the document."

Though it was just a hunch, Xia Wan was almost convinced that the secretary was behind this!
