Bab 466: 466. The Scarf

Jael frowned as he walked into her room, "What's with the scarf?" He asked.

Mauve stood from the dresser, her eyes staring daggers at him and without saying a word, she scoffed and walked toward him.

He stretched out his hand for her to take it but she glared at him and walked past him. He turned his gaze to Mill with a puzzled expression but Mill just kept her head bent as she bowed to him.

He blinked realizing that he had to rush out if he wanted to catch up with her. "What's the matter?" He asked and grabbed her hand to stop her.

"Nothing," she said stubbornly and pulled her hand from his grasp. She continued, ignoring him as she walked towards the stairs with her nose in the air.

"What do you mean nothing?" He asked, catching up to her easily.

"Nothing means nothing," she said and started down the stairs.

He sighed, "What's with the scarf? Your dress looks pretty without it."
