Bab 350: 350. The Aristocrat’s Residence

Mauve yawned slightly as the sun started to set. She had dozed off a lot of times during the journey that her neck was hurting from being tossed around.

She had tried to stare awake as best as she could but had failed. She was glad she was the only one in the carriage as that would have been embarrassing.

They were in a town, they have been in the town for a couple of minutes now. She could only assume they intended to spend the night here, since they weren't speeding through it.

The town was more developed than the village they had been in. They had a proper gate and as soon as they had seen Sir Galath, the gates had been thrown open.

The town was buzzing with life and business even though the sun was fast going down, people were still going about their businesses.

She had gotten a few stares but mostly people had minded their businesses. This was probably a common experience, it was no longer a spectacle for them.
