Sounding unsure, Zack begun to personally check inside his bag, as he didn't even notice the shock look on Vottes's face, when she heard him.
The highest she ever rob- earned was around 50,000 Jewels, it cannot be helped, since the most fattest of wallets, always has guards with them. And because they are surrounded with their guards, she dared not to touch them, since there might be a chance, they might have connections with Black Rivers, or worse yet, another Dark Guild.
Least Vottes Brave wanted, is to be wanted by another guild in the underworld. She already has this much trouble with one Dark Guild, why add another?
"Oh? It's 490,895 huh. Nearly half gone…? Well, it should be enough, right?" Zack asked himself, as he tried to recall how much it cost him last time when he stopped by a town or village.
Normally it wouldn't cost Zack this much, since he mostly lived off the land. But when he begun his journey to become strong as possible. It was near winter. Because it was near winter, and soon became winter as well.
Made no choice, for Zack to spend a lot in inns and other similar places, for logging and food. After all, no matter how much Zack refers to lived from the land, it is impossible for him in winter.
But that didn't mean he didn't stop hunting his own food. In fact, when Zack stopped at local inns, he normally hunts down wild animals, or eatable monsters. And bring them back to the inn, because of that, sometimes he gets free logging, a discount, or even free meals and drinks on the house.
Zack still refers to cook his own meals, since for one, it's one of his hobbies, and two, because of his Growth Rate cheat, that not only affects his personal training growth, but also his cooking skills as well.
If one think about it, what Growth Rate is capable of, it indeed a very scary skill. Since it increases the growth of anything Zack does, be it training, learning knowledge, or even crafts themselves. No matter what it is, as long Zack personally do it, he will always be ten times faster than others.
And this will make Zack a genius in other people's eyes, or worse yet, a monster.
Shame enough, only one that known Zack is a good cook, is Vottes herself. Back in Fairy Tail, Zack always enjoys eating the food cooked on the streets, in restaurants, or best of them all, at the guild hall itself.
It's true three out of four times of the time, Zack will cook and hunt his own food. But he likes the warmth the food gives him, which is why no one at Fairy Tail, not even Natsu or Gray knew that Zack could cook.
Of course, since he begins to cook for others, mostly Vottes. Zack also learnt, it's kind of fun and joyous to see others enjoying his food, making one of his goals when he returns, to make others at the guild, to try his own cooking.
On the other hand, Vottes looked at the happily Zack, who smiled thinking of his new goal, to feed the guild with his home cooking, like he does with Vottes. Cannot help to be shocked, hearing what he said.
"Should be enough he says… I never seen that much Jewels before. Wait, don't I have a bounty of 10 million don't I…?"
Vottes sighed, as she glances towards the pile of money. However, there no greed could be seen in her eyes. But just pure curiosity how could he earn that much money from.

At the same time, as Vottes and Zack finished their talks about money, and about to prepare breakfast. In the very same town, they are planning to reach today. Happened to be located not only in the Bosco Kingdom, but also in the province of the Duke of Trade.
In this town, within one of the always, lies a little green haired girl, whose age seems to be around 11 years old.
The moment the little girl reached halfway through the alley, also the moment when she suddenly fell to her knees, and begin to breath heavily, almost as if she been running and on the move for a long time now.
Not only that, but anyone could also tell from her pale face, could see how frighten and tried this little girl is.
In the first place, she has no clue what this place or town is. Only thing the little green haired girl knew, that somehow, she luckily managed to slip away from her kidnappers, that brought her to this town.
Because she been running without thinking all day, trying to find someway to leave this town, and returned home alone. The little girl suddenly become tried from all the stress and tiredness that amounted all over her body over time.
Her legs ached in pain from all the running, it no wonder why she collapsed to her knees in the first place.
With her legs aching in pain, and tiredness washing all over her body. The little girl turned her green eyes towards the sun, realising she must had been running all the night, since it is now morning.
It no wonder why her current state become like this. After all, she is only a child, with no proper training to boot as well. Making her current physical stats around G~G+.
Knowing she cannot beat the tiredness of her child body, and her mind instinctively make her seek safer and sleep. Her green eyes looked towards the piles of stacked wooden boxes, a place where she could easily hide her body in. And moved her heavy body towards them and hide herself within the safety of the wooden crates and barrels.
Using her cloak, the little girl covered herself, and took one last look towards the sun in the sky.
"Father… I miss you…" Went the little girl with green hair and eyes. Before she finally shuts her eyes asleep.

Somewhere in the forest, at the very place where Vottes and Zack spent the night before last night. Stood a hulky tall, hooded man. Who suddenly, like a beast, went on all four of his limbs. As smelled the black ashes of the camping site before him, with a serious look in his dangerous sharp eyes.
"She's not alone huh… Dru Dru… must report this, to boss…" Went the hulky man, as he begin to run very fast on all four.
And within the wind as he past and run like a beast, the guild mark of Black Rivers shown itself, stating he is a Dark Wizard of Black Rivers. And… also the very same S-Class Wizard, that is in charge of chasing down Vottes.
And unlike the others, he doesn't rely on the magical stone that once inside her. And now, he is only few days away from their location.

In some place in the province of the Duke of Trade. Lies a bum looking lazy man. Who lit up a cigarette while he looked at the sky.
"… Was it just my imagination…?" Went the lazy bum looking man, as he yawned, and smoked the cigarette he just lit up. And just behind the lazy looking man, that hard to tell he if he is a bagger or a thug from the way he clothes himself. Stood a group of armed knights.
"Something the matter, your grace?" Went the one that seems to be the leader of the knights, and the closest knight to the lazily homeless looking man.
"Naught… let get this bloody meeting done with…" The middle aged bum looking man said, as he yawned, and walked ahead, followed by the knights that also walked behind the man who still smoking his cigarette in hand.
'Why does it feels like something annoying is going to happened…?' Thought the man, who is in fact one of the most important key figures in Bosco Kingdom.
At this moment of time, Zack will never know, this visit to the town ahead of them. Will bring in loads of trouble for him.

I know, I am late for the update. And I am sorry, there wouldn't be another chapter this week, besides this one I already done before.
The laptop, which I used to write, or rewrite in this case, the chapters or posts of this fanfic of mine, the keys on the keyboard become stuck. And if anyone check the difference between a normal keyboard, and a laptop keyboard, knows how complex they are underneath.
Meaning I cannot put them back on, once I removed them. And the idiot me, took off the wrong key from the laptop's keyboard. So, I had no choice to switch between my laptops, since I don't have a PC anymore.
Anyway, I am sorry for the delay, and the fact, there only be one chapter this week. Should be back to normal on Monday, unless… something happens, hopefully not.
