Bab 43: Arrival In Mystic Falls
Caroline Forbes-Salvatore came running downstairs Even Alaric had taken his daughters away for a little while. So, Caroline was alone at the school. She was making a little change in the school.
quickly. The doorbell rang. She was surprised at it. The students were on holiday, so who would it be?
She opened the door.
"Klaus?"
Klaus Mikaelson stood on the other side of the door, his clothes were covered with dirt and mud. He was drained of blood, and he looked tired.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
Years ago, they had a deal that he would not come back to Mystic Falls.
"Hi…"
He looked troubled.
"Who are you?" He asked.
"What?"
"Who are you?" He repeated.
"Klaus? It's me!"
"Klaus…." He repeated. "Is that my name?"
"What is wrong with you?" She asked, "Is this an act?"
She asked suspiciously.
"I…."
She looked at him for a few moments. She decided that this wasn't an elaborate scheme.
"Come inside." She told him.
"Thank you."
Thank you? Something was wrong.
"Hold on, I'll be back." She thought he looked in need of blood.
She brought out two blood bags and handed one to him. She started sipping her own. He looked horrified.
"What are you doing?" He shouted.
He looked scared...of her.
Something was REALLY wrong.
"I shouldn't have come here!" He started to run out.
She zoomed in front of him, blocking the door.
"What is wrong with you?" She asked, "What happened to you?"
Was he a human? Was he compelled? It wasn't possible!! Caroline shook her head. Everything was possible in the world.
"Who did this to you?" Her eyes pierced into his.
"What? What are you doing?"
He moved away.
Nope….Still, the original vampire.
He ran the other way. Caroline wanted to laugh. The Big Bad Wolf was scared of her.
She ran after him.
"Hey…Klaus." She stopped in front of him again. "Stop, okay…okay? I can explain. Please…."
He nodded.
"Who sent you here?" She asked.
If he didn't remember anything, he must have gotten information about her and this school.
"This…"
He took out a photo from his pocket. It was a photo of herself. She took it and turned it around.
"The light of your life lives in the Salvatore House," She read. "You have to be her last love. However long it takes."
She smiled.
"Did you write this?" She asked.
"I did." He told her, "I remember being in the woods, I was there, someone else was there too! And…then, something happened."
She didn't know what happened. But, this Klaus….this Klaus was different.
"I don't know what happened. But, something bad happened." He told her, "All I remember is that I took out this photo and wrote this."
"Okay." She nodded. "Then?"
"Then, everything blacked out."
She nodded.
"So, what is your name?" He asked.
"Caroline."
