Bab 33: Mysterious Man In The Bar.
Klaus Mikaelson came back to Mystic Falls, after a few years. Even though he never wanted to return to this town again. Still, there was someone that forced him to. Caroline Forbes. Hey had interacted briefly on two or three occasions. But still, there was something about that girl…...That wouldn't let Klaus Mikaelson keep away. The only problem was, when he left, he had compelled the whole town to forget him.
He sighed as he got out of the Taxi. He knocked on the Forbes house for ten minutes. There was no answer.
He walked over to the Salvatore house, he knocked on the door. Elena Gilbert walked in.
"Hi…..Can I help you?" She looked at him, surprised, she was holding a five months old baby.
"I am looking for Caroline Forbes." He told her. "Where can I find her?"
"Damo…" Elena looked inside the house, and shook her head, "I don't think so,"
She looked at him,
"Damon took her down to the airport just now." Elena explained. "She had a plane to catch."
"Damon Salvatore?" Klaus was a little confused.
They both despised each other.
"Ever since she and Stefan got married, and Stefan died." Elena said, "They have grown close."
Elena was sleep deprived, she had no idea why she was telling this to a stranger.
"Married?" Klaus jumped, "Stefan is dead?"
"I am sorry, who are you again?" Elena asked.
"It doesn't matter anymore!" Klaus turned to go, "Where is she going? Caroline?"
"New Orleans."
Klaus Mikaelson was taken back. Caroline Forbes was going to New Orleans….When she had been compelled? Why did she choose New Orleans?
Elena Gilbert-Salvatore yawned, and went inside, she was confused why this man asked these questions and was now running down the street.
If she wasn't sleepy, she could have sworn he was a vampire.
Caroline Forbes was in the airplane, she was off to New Orleans, and she had no idea why she was going there. She only knew one thing, she needed time away from Mystic Falls.Caroline Forbes was really upset after Stefan had gone. After almost six months, Damon suggested that she should get out of the town, and travel for sometime.
She resisted at first, then agreed, and three hours later, she was on the plane to New Orleans. She had no idea why she chose that city.
She landed in New Orleans, rented an apartment, and got a job at a bar.
She needed a project. She needed work, she needed to get away from being the Salvatore who was widowed on her wedding day. She needed to feel Caroline again.
Klaus Mikaelson came back to New Orleans, with news of Caroline being in the very city he lived. With no intention of visiting him. He hated that he had compelled her. He looked for her as soon as he got there. After he got tired he decided to get a drink.
"Oh, You Have Got To Be Kidding Me!" He sighed.
He stepped inside, and saw Caroline behind the bar pouring out a drink for a woman sitting at the bar.
"Hi!" Caroline smiled at him, "What can I get you?"
She asked him.
"I'll have a scotch!" He said. "Caroline."
"How do you know my name?" She asked, surprised.
"Your name ta…"
"I am not wearing a name tag!" She eyed him suspiciously.
"I heard someone call you…" Klaus said quickly.
"Okaaaay…." She nodded, as she moved over to another customer.
Klaus Mikaelson sat there, drinking, thinking if he should tell her everything or start over. Because, he had a fresh start with the woman who told him she hated him.
Caroline Forbes put the bottle back on the shelf, she looked at the mysterious man sitting in front of her for just a second.
