Bab 440: An Awkward Request

Due to the awkward turn of events, everyone would have expected all the men to revolt against the ladies.

However, instead of sulking, each party came together to celebrate one another. All the men except the fake couple and singles in their midst, were given a memorable time by their elated spouses. 

From the way most of the men were acting, it was as if they were happy that they lost the game to the ladies.

The only person who felt used, abused and humiliated was Josh. He took the defeat so personally, that he didn't want anything to do with Anastasia that evening. 

Anastasia on the other hand felt miserable even though the ladies won the game. She watched in disappointment as all the couples left in pairs to their different love nest, while she hung beside a sulking fool.

Even the man she had gone through great lengths to entice, didn't even look in his direction. Instead, his eyes were glued to his pregnant wife.
