You sighed as you twisted a lock of your hair, checking your phone you nibbled at your lip. You were waiting for your 'secret' boyfriend. You were seeing your brother's best friend, you were fairly certain that most of the Avengers knew about your relationship, your brother on the other hand had no idea. You had been given some of the same serum, that your brother was. You had fought alongside Peggy Carter during the war, you had lived during the years your brother and Bucky had been presumed dead. You hadn't managed to find the one you were 'meant to be with' as you had fallen for Bucky before everything had happened but had never confessed your feelings towards him. Then your brother had been found, then Bucky and a whole load of other things had happened. Bucky now had his memories back. When he had woken up and once the pair of you were alone, he had told you how he had felt since the first time you had met. You had returned your feelings, the pair of you had kissed shortly after the confession. You had both spent the night, talking and kissing making up for the time that had been taken from you.
While you were musing, Bucky had arrived at your small apartment and had let himself in using the key you had given him. He watched you with a soft smile, before moving over and gently placing his hand on your shoulder. You leaned back against Bucky's solid torso, he moved his fingers up your neck causing goose bumps to erupt, his warm fingers causing fire to dance across your skin. His fingers moved to tangle in your hair, you sighed as his nails scratched at your scalp. "Hey, what are you thinking about?" His husky voice rumbled through your living room and through your chest. "You, James." Bucky smiled at you, you were the only one who called him, James. He moved and sat beside you and you turned to curl into his chest. He kissed the top of your head. "What to watch a movie?" He asked, you shook your head. He wrapped his arms around you, tugging you into his lap. You rested your head on his shoulder, he sighed inhaling the smell of your shampoo. There was a bang as your door flew open, you and Bucky flinched at the loud noise, his arms tighten holding you closely. Your brother turned the corner ranting about Stark and his suits before stopping dead once he focussed on the sight before him. "Y/N?" There was a pause, "Bucky?"
You disentangled yourself from Bucky and stood, "Hey," Steve breathed in before nodding and walking to your kitchen. Bucky rose and followed. "You and my sister huh?" Steve handed Bucky a beer and opened his own, placing one on the counter for you. Bucky started to try and explain, stumbling over his words before Steve showed mercy by chuckling. "Relax Buck, she's liked you since you first met, besides I trust you with my life, I think its safe to say I trust you with my sister." Bucky grinned before opening his own beer and taking a draft, "That being said, you hurt her, I will come after you." Bucky grabbed your beer and opened it. He turned with a parting remark to his best friend. "You really like getting punched, don't you?"
