Bab 311: Battle for the Sea

Stella had not been able to perform a complete transformation. Rune's possession over the other half of the Origin would not allow it. Just as he could never fully wield the magic he took from the fragments, she would never be able to achieve a full state of fusion on her own.

Stella's fusion with Rienn had only been a partial one, but Rune was able to do what she couldn't. His clothes had seemingly vanished leaving his muscular body bare, and his right arm was now a transparent blue–it was completely made of shimmering water. Scales also now partially covered his body in different spots. They were a deep shimmering blue, just like his arm, and they seemed to have depth to them that defied expectation. Each one seemed to be an ocean on their own.
