Bab 308: Battle for the Sea

"Was that who I think it was?" Rune asked.

Shiro coughed up the remaining blood that was in her chest after being healed and responded. "Yes. Seiya. He modified his body somehow." She climbed up to her feet, staggering a little from feelings of lingering weakness in her body, and Fleur comforted her.

"Careful now. I healed you but it is going to take a minute for you to regain all of your strength."

Shiro had been heavily injured. Multiple bone fractures and ruptured organs were found during Fleur's examination. The crack to her spine had been especially troubling. Had they arrived any later, Shiro might have been beyond saving. It was impossible to heal someone whose body was already going through the processes of death.

"Well, whatever he did to himself, it clearly worked. I could tell just by looking at him that he is incredibly powerful." Luna chimed in.

Rune nodded in agreement. "Yeah."

"Where did he go? I can't see."
