Rune's expression hardened when Fleur dashed at him in an arc of light from her distant position atop the cliff but softened when she dove lovingly into his chest despite coming into contact with the cold metal of his chest plate. Irene had told him that whenever Fleur mastered this new magic of hers, she would come back a different person, but he did not think she would grow this strong. With the presence of mana inside his body came the perception to sense mana, and though he had a ways to go before he could gauge a person's strength accurately with this method, Rune could easily sense the massive reservoirs present inside Fleur's body.
