Maria really did not understand why Rune was attempting to train in his condition. Though he made a good effort, it was impossible for him to focus. He was using [Body Activation] to keep himself going, but that would not work for this kind of training.

Rune needed to completely relax, but as soon as he dropped his technique, his body was racked with pain. He did not show it much, but it was clearly enough to break his concentration.

Though he seemed capable of using [Body Activation] unconsciously, his technique was not yet perfected. He was still diverting some of his attention to maintaining a steady level. To fully grasp how to use [Mind Activation], he first needed to be able to clear his mind while in his most natural state. That meant no techniques and no enhancements.
