Bab 76: General Wrock

Rune moved as quickly as he could across the marshy ground as he went to assist Luna. He could see her off in the distance, furiously fending off attacks from all directions. Her current abilities weren't well suited for an all-out brawl at close range, so it was all she could do block with her dagger and armguard.

Luna had attempted to counter at one point, and although she managed to land a hit, it was not a fatal blow. She did not have the leeway to go for a kill while closed in like she was.

Block, parry, block, parry.

Rune watched Luna slash her blade in all directions in a flurry of silver and martial prowess as he made his way over to her side.

"I have to hurry."

Luna had gone too far, and the distance between them was not small. It was not a gap Rune could easily close, even using body activation. So Rune had opted to increase the level of his technique a little more to raise his speed and reach her quicker. He was getting close when he was forced to stop in his tracks.
