Bab 59: Chapter 59

Persephone

"Are you afraid, Persephone?" Came the childish voice of the boy in my front.

I blinked, used to hearing the question ever since my arrival at Nether Mount High. "Do I have to be afraid?" I asked the boy.

He raised an eyebrow, the crinkles of his face arguing that he was thinking it through. "I am not sure," He turned away from me. "The things in this place say I am an Abomination."

A sense of sympathy washed through me as he said those words after all he was just a child…. I think.

"Come, walk with Persephone Charming," My heart stuttered when he said those words.

I remembered the people that waited for me downstairs. This boy could very well be the big boss of this building. I was afraid of crossing him…. But on the other hand he didn't seem so easy to cross.

I followed him, keeping a distance between us. Unable to quell my curiosity, I asked. "Where is here?"
