Bab 17: Chapter 17: komoru the death god
In the middle of the army, komoru stood atop the earth dragon. His gaze was set on the being that look down at him.
After komoru gained the approval of the god's hammer, he has gained tremendous power. With that power, his body has changed a lot. So much so that when he was now compared to the average goblin queen, he stood four to five times bigger. With his increase in size, so did his strength.
With such strength komoru has proven himself superior to every creature in Aggeria. Even the mighty earth dragon is but a mere mount to the current him. If here any creature he dares not face, then it would be the sea monsters, but he believes their time Is due. It is only a matter 'when.'
But when he faced him, all that strength seemed like a joke. It seemed as though komoru was only a child compared to him. And for the first time since he wielded the hammer, komoru's confidence wavered. But it was only for a moment, he steeped his heart and chose to walk this path.
"I won't lose, not when i am so close. So clpse to reuniting with my queen."
As of current, komoru and the army was still hundred of meters away, but the giant's towering height could be seen even if there were thousands of kilometers away.
And atop that mountain, komoru saw the giant slowly coming down. Although "slowly" is only in relation to his body posture. As the distance he crosses with a single step could rival komoru's greatest speed.

At first Zenn felt a little fear whne he saw all these small creatures crowding down the mountain. After all, the say an elephant can be called by ants as long as there are enough. He may be no elephant, but these Creatures were mere ants either. But his fear was curbed by his curiosity.
One must know that before Alex dropped out of school, he used to study science. So he was of course fascinated by it. If there was a topic he loved more than science, then it would be fiction.
So how could he not be curious of these Creatures in front of him. They are the products of science, but seem like fictional constructs. What more could he what but to get closer?
Plus, although there was many of these ant like people, at the end of the day, that is all they add up to, ants! Even if he could not beat them all if he actually fought, he is still sure he could escape. With his size, they could never reach him if he ran with his greatest speed.
So soon, he found himself in front of the massive army. Of course for protection, he left the two goblins atop the mountain and he himself stood at least two meters away. That's about two kilometers if compared to the goblins. So he had successfully created a gap to give himself running room if needed.
As he looked at the mixed army of goblins and what looked like monsters to him, Zenn had many creatures that attracted his interest.
But without doubt, the one he was most interested in was the brown lizard laying deep within the army. Not only was he lizard the largest creature in the army, but the goblins and monsters all made way for the creature as it stepped foward. Showing what status it held in the army. Or to be precise, what status the one on top of it held.
Komoru.
Immediately as he jumped off the lizard, Zenn was able to see the clear difference between komoru and the other goblins. With his size, it seemed komoru could squash a male goblin with a mere step of his. The large hammer in his hand seemed even larger than a female goblin. Yet he swung it casually on his shoulder.
Zenn from above could not help but gaze at the hammer in komoru's grasp. According to goblin legends, the hammer was a god's weapon. Zenn wondered if it was this weapon thay made komoru so big.
After all, with his size, Zenn could have been sure he was not a goblin if it was for the green skin.
'Do gods really exist?' Zenn could not help but ask himself. It seemed that this week was set to be the most mind blowing he has ever lived.
"Are you the creator god?"
Zenn heard the smaller man's rather raspy voice. And although he was so small, Zenn was able to clearly hear every world of his. But at his question, Zenn was not sure how to reply. If he was right, this 'creator god' should actually be his ancestor and not him. After all, he did say he created this world. He on the other, was only but a guardian. So should he say yes or no?
"I am the gurding of this world."
Zenn decided to instead not clarify. He did not not agree or deny, but he did not lie.
"Are you here to stop me?"
"It depends, what do you intend to do?"
Komoru turned silent for a moment. He looked at Zenn from above with concealed anger. It was not the type of anger that makes you want to hit something, but instead the silent and determined anger. So silent that it's only give away was the ferocity in his eyes.
"Why did you let her died?"
He asked. His grip on his hammer slightly tightening.
But Zenn who was too big, was unable to see these small changes.
So he asked komoru, "Who?"
He was currently wearing his 'ice mask,' so he was as expressionless as he could be as he asked the question. To komoru though, what he saw was not the simple question Zenn intended it to be. It was instead an indifferent face that mocked his queen.
Who? My queen believed in you her whole life. She devoted her whole being to you, but when I speak of her, you say 'who.'
The anger in komoru heart slowly manifested in his face.
Why am I still speaking to this ungrateful trash. I shall dig out his heart and let his body become nutrients for my queen. Then I will be her god, her death god!
