Bab 19: Bullying

The bell rang for a long time, but Su Tang still did not return.
Due to Shi Man's deterrence, no one made a fuss during this class. Even if they did not listen to the class and did their own things, they tried their best not to make a big commotion.
The entire Class F was so quiet that when Teacher Ren came to class, she was shocked and incredulous.
"Report." Su Tang appeared at the classroom door.
"Come in." Teacher Ren frowned unhappily when she saw Su Tang.
She remembered that this girl was the class monitor and had always abided by the school rules. Why did she come to class dressed like this today and was even late?
Su Tang lowered her head and quickly walked to her seat, burying her face in her book.
Shi Man glanced at her. It looked like she had been bullied in the washroom. Her hair and uniform were wet, and one could vaguely see the color of her underwear.
She was not wearing her uniform jacket. Instead, she stuffed it into a drawer. The jacket was even wetter than her shirt, and there were a few shoe prints on it.
Shi Man sighed silently in her heart. She had been taught since she was young, the principle of an eye for an eye.
She would treat others the way they treated her. When they hit her, she would hit them back until they were unable to retaliate.
If they were enemies, she would kill them directly. As long as they were alive, they might pose a threat to her in the future.
Back when she was reading the novel, she had expected better from Su Tang. Fortunately, Su Tang did not tolerate her again and again. Instead, she proved her ability and value in her own way, making the male lead, Yi Zheng, look at her in a different light and fall in love with her. She even obtained the approval of others and became someone who had the ability to walk side by side with Yi Zheng.
Seeing that she would improve in the future, Shi Man softened.
"Wipe it." Shi Man instructed and handed her handkerchief over.
Stunned, Su Tang took the handkerchief.
Shi Man heard the sound of tears hitting the textbook. She pretended not to see and turned to look out the window.
Su Tang secretly wiped her tears and the water off her body with a handkerchief. Ever since she entered school, Shi Man was the only person who had reached out to her.
Although the teachers knew that Su Tang had been bullied by her classmates in school, almost all of Cassel's students were children with formidable family backgrounds, so the teachers could not control them.
Since nothing serious happened to Su Tang, they naturally turned a blind eye.
"I'll return it to you tomorrow after I go back and wash it." Su Tang put away Shi Man's handkerchief.
The pure white handkerchief emitted the refreshing fragrance of orchids. Su Tang looked at the person sitting beside her and couldn't help but think that perhaps she had never seen her true self before.
After all, no matter how she looked at it, Shi Man was not as unreasonable and cunning as the rumors said.
"No, throw it away." What was there to wash a handkerchief for? It wasn't anything expensive.
Su Tang's hand paused as she put the handkerchief back on the table.
It was time for class to end again. A few people surrounded Su Tang's desk. "Su Tang, what's wrong?"
Su Tang's appearance was outstanding among her peers. Her personality was pure and non-aggressive, so she naturally attracted the attention of some boys. However, they were only interested in her appearance.
"I'm fine. I just fell." Su Tang smiled at them and said it casually.
"Then do you want to go play after school? We have an appointment to go to Nightless City."
Nightless City was a famous bar in G City. From the service staff to the performers, all of them were good-looking and capable. The young masters in G City liked to go there.
Hearing that, Su Tang's face stiffened. "I won't go."
"Don't make things difficult for the class monitor." Fang Han walked over and stood between Su Tang and the others. "With the class monitor's family situation, she can't afford to go to such a high-spending place."
Su Tang saw Fang Han coming over and lowered her head again.
"Don't you think so, Class Monitor?" Fang Han sat down at Su Tang's table when she ignored her.
There was not much space on the table, to begin with. As soon as Fang Han sat down, she pushed all the books on the table to the ground.
