I decided to talk to Brahma. Brahma was the god of creation, knowledge, and some other stuff I can't remember at the moment. I can't remember anything about his personality. All I knew was that I was going to ask him to teach me the astra for Brahmastra. It would most likely be a no, but having the ability to summon the strongest weapon in hindu mythology would be amazing. It would give me an offensive strength on the level of a god. From what I can remember, only Arjuna and Karna could use it.[1] It took a little bit, but the necklace probably sensed my desire to talk to Brahma and decided to inform him of this fact. Then, I felt extreme pain. "AHHHHHHHHHH." I screamed in pain as the necklace started to melt and become extremely hot. After a while of screaming and immense pain, the pain subsided and suddenly I felt a smooth breeze come hitting my face. I opened my eyes and saw a man standing on a swan. I couldn't really tell his height, but it was most likely around 6 ft. He had black hair, with golden bangs and a black goatee. He had red eyes and looked familiar for some reason. He wore a red suit, which was confusing to me, as he shouldn't have known what suits were.[2]
"Hey! You okay there young man? You must be in quite the predicament to use Durvasa's gift so early, so tell me what's troubling you young man?" Brahma said with a wide smile.
"Yeah, I'm fine lord Brahma I was just recovering from a bout of pain during the necklace summoning." I jumped in surprise when I realised I could now speak Sanskrit perfectly.[3]
"O~h? It's not supposed to hurt though?" The god hopped off of his swan and walked towards me. He helped me up before patting me down. He started nodding to himself before looking at my neck for a few moments, and a wide smile spread across his face.
"Well well well! You are certainly a surprise!" He said in a boisterous tone.
"What do you mean lord Brahma?" I asked, genuinely confused as the only thing special about me was the fact I hadn't died when I was supposed to.
He smiled before saying happily "You are an extremely interesting person! You aren't from this world, yet you can live in it. You're dead, but you are clearly standing in front of me!" He looked me up and down again before nodding again.
"Yes, yes, very interesting! You bring knowledge from the future, a topic that interests me greatly!" Brahma looked at me with an insane smile.[4]
"Do you want my knowledge lord Brahma?" I asked him while tilting my head.
"No, if I wanted it, I would have just looked into your mind like Shiva did, what I want, is to protect your mind to make sure none of the other gods can do the same." The god said this with a smile at the start, but he got more serious as he spoke.
"If you let me add defenses to your mind, I will give you an ~astra~!" He said cheerfully, a stark contrast to his last tone.
I nodded, it was a good deal, a great one even, but, "What's in it for you?" I asked curiously as it didn't make sense that he would do this.
He smirked before saying "I just want to help someone in need, is that wrong?"
Ok, that was bullshit and I'm not getting an answer out of him.
"Alright then, lord Brahma I accept your deal." I said deciding to accept as I couldn't see any downsides to this deal.
"~GREAT~! Be careful not to scream okay?" He said before he put his hand on my head.
"What...AHHHHHHHHHHHHH." I screamed in pain as he started doing something. His arm glowed a reddish hue before he stopped and the pain subsided. I almost fell down, but Brahma grabbed my arm and lifted me up.
"All done!" He clapped his hands smiling.
I regained my balance, and Brahma let go of my arm.
"Now about that astra....."
.................End of chapter.........
Holy shit. This chapter has taken me about 8 hours in total to write. Why? Because of Brahma's personality. I could not find a goddamned thing, so I just made my own. Also its short, some versions of this chapter were 3000 words long, but I just decided to split this version into two parts for a cliffhanger. See ya tomorrow most likely, ANDREWTATE.
[1] He doesn't remember Ashvatthama
[2] Brahma *Spoiler*
[3] Brahma replaced his knowledge of english with sanskrit using equal exchange.
[4] Brahma isn't insane, he just acts like it. Or, maybe he is.
