More than a month quickly went by. 

Within this time, Zick tried using the regretful necklace upon himself after killing one of the well-known side characters of the novel, only to find out that it had no effect. 

For unknown reasons, the necklace lost its effect on Zick. Many ways were tried, like passing the ownership to Yuriel and using it on himself and many more. 

But all of it failed with no exception. 

In the first place, the information about the regretful necklace was very inadequate. This kind of phenomenon was most likely just one of its functions. 

'Haha, Well of course the person who made it would do such a thing. If not, it would be possible to visit the doll gallery again and again.' Zick heaved a sigh and let the matter go. 

If he could not do anything about it, why waste time worrying about it?

Zick just moved on to the next thing, the construction of the golems.
