Bab 254: The Place and The Date

After an interrogation by his friend, Jae-Geun came out of the room. Nivritti was staring at her phone waiting for him. She didn't notice the opening and closing of the door. Jae-Geun for a second glanced at her face. He could not see her full face but still loved the view. He knew he could get lost in Nivritti all his life.

Maybe Young-Jae was right. He must take risks. He must ask her out. At least he will get to know what she thinks about him. But was he ready for the rejection? She was the first woman he ever liked. She was the first woman who pulled at his heart's strings. Was he ready to be turned down by her?

A nurse sitting outside yelled the name of the next patient making Nivritti look up at Jae-Geun. The wind was knocked out of his chest the moment Nivritti raised her head, looked at him and smiled. "Holy shit! She needs to stop doing that," thought Nivritti. "Wow! Her one look is enough for me to die. What is going to happen to me?"
