The day was going to be a tedious one, and I had a feeling that it was going to drag on forever. The waiting game was never easy, and I found myself constantly checking the time, counting down the minutes until I would receive some news. My heart was filled with a mixture of apprehension and hope. On one hand, I was eager to hear about the progress of my minions, but on the other, I feared that the enemy might be retreating, regrouping, and plotting their next attack.
