Bab 123: The Past

  The dinner was amazing. Although it was noisy, the sound wasn't utterly chaotic but more like summer. A happy one. Children laugh, arguing in their baby talks, fun words, and innocent words. Eris loves that. The silence in the hospital was somehow deafening without the kid's noise. Those are the times when she's staying there. 

Now, she couldn't concentrate on her food as she was busy listening to the kids. For her the kids were everything. They are magnificent. Their curious questions and answers were innocent, but they found it very much amusing. 

"Don't you like the food?" Gray asked as he rubbed her back. 

"No. It's amazing actually. I was listening to whatever Kendal was saying about her first pilot on the helicopter."
