At this time all those people that previously followed Alex begin to search around. Some time ago when they followed him he suddenly stopped moving. That made all of them very confused and they also stopped their movement and wanted to see what he would do next. For 1 minute or you can say 2 minutes Alex did not move from his place and that really made every one of those people who followed him very confused. 

But suddenly after 2 minutes, Alex disappeared from his place and with that instantly every one of them became shocked and they realized that most likely Alex already planned all of this and he got away from there.
