"Are you Mr. A?" Jasmine looked at Charles as she asked

The atmosphere of the room became sour, it was as if she had said something she wasn't supposed to. Even Sam, who had almost finished packing his tools, trembled a bit. Why was this girl saying this name so casually? Sam said to himself inwardly.

Jasmine stared at Mr. Charles, waiting to hear his answer to her questions. Although her heart was racing, it didn't stop her from trying to know the true identity of this man.

Charles stood silently examining the pale girl sitting on the bed and the look on her face. He smiled and strode towards her silently without uttering a word which made her nervous. Was this alias known in other places as well? She thought.

Charles walked towards her with a different look on his face, the warmth in his smile had disappeared and was replaced with a cold crooked smile.
