Bab 35: New Evolution Skills!!
In a dark space, nothing could be seen for miles except two certain blue-haired individuals.
"So your Raphael my new Ultimate Skill?" Rimuru looked at the identical counterpart of himself curiously.
"Yes, master." Raphael responded monotonously.
"Hmm usually I wouldn't mind being called master but technically I have a counterpart I'm dating, so just call me by Lord. Fufufu." Rimuru chuckled with a proud smile.
"Y-yes Lord Rimuru." Raphael momentarily frowned but immediately went back to her usual emotionless face.
"Okay so why do you look like me? And where are we?" Rimuru questioned, looking around the pitch-black space curiously.
"If you feel uncomfortable with me looking like you, I can change."
"Nah I am quite easy on the eyes, hehe." Rimuru smiled as she inspected Raphael.
"As for your other question, we are in your soul." Raphael replied emotionlessly.
"Hmm? Why are we here? Last I remember was me and Lucifer going to sleep so we can evolve faster." Rimuru looked at Raphael confusedly.
"I found a way for us to watch the battle that is currently going on by connecting with the individual named Lucifer through the soul corridor."
"Usually this wouldn't be possible but with special soul corridors such as the one between you, and the individuals named Veldora and Lucifer, it is possible to watch their actions if they do not resist." Raphael added.
"Wait!? Lucifer's in battle!? He said we would both go to sleep at the same time!"
"He said since the Empire was delayed for some reason, we had a couple more days, even Souei was there! Don't tell me he lied!?" Rimuru added furiously.
"It seemed he believed that holding the enemy off himself rather than let others die was the better choice. His choice of plan seems to be stalling for time, waiting for your's and subordinate's complete evolution."
"I also agree with this choice of plan, but their is only one downside." Raphael explained logically.
"Don't tell me you knew!?" Rimuru questioned with his brow twitching.
"Yes, I noticed his plans and believed them to be the best choice. I assumed since it was the best plan made by your counterpart, you would also agree which is why I didn't inform you. I don't understand why your not happy, is victory not your goal?" Raphel questioned confusedly.
"Raphael-*Sigh* I understand your still learning things such as emotions but from now on, tell me everything that seems that I would care." Rimuru calmed down.
"Anyways, what was the downside you were talking about?" Rimuru questioned with a frown.
"The result of forcing an evolution which is what the individual named Lucifer recently did, will critically damage their soul which could result in death." Raphael explained calmly.
Suddenly a purple aura burst out of Rimuru.
BOOM!
Raphael raised her hands in front of her face, stunned by her master's actions.
Why was her master furious?
Did she do something wrong?
But suddenly the purple aura was instantly sucked back into Rimuru's body.
"Is their a way for me to go back to the real world?" Rimuru questioned creepily calmly.
"U-uh no Lord Rimuru, since you have gone to sleep for evolution, it's too late." Raphael stuttered.
For the first time, Raphael felt fear.
She was scared of her master's wrath.
She was scared to become a disappointment to her master.
'Is this what the emotion called fear is?' Raphael questioned inwardly.
"Okay, show me Lucifer's perspective." Rimuru's hair covered his eyes but if one paid close attention, they were full of calm fury.
"Y-yes Lord Rimuru." Raphael was still stunned by her master's actions but quickly showed Lucifer's perspective.

Lucifer looked around himself as he was completely surrounded by hundreds and thousands of men until suddenly time started to slow down for him or rather he was thinking to fast.
He started to focus on the words in front of him.

[Tron Outfit]: Can be used for SuperSpeed, which will make the user faster because of aerodynamics. Will not rip apart because of a special fabric meant for speedsters.]

Once Lucifer was done reading it, he slowly looked up.
Looking up, he noticed barely any time went by because of [Thought Acceleration].
"Ohohoho, HAHAHAHA!" Lucifer burst out laughing.
The Empire soldiers who surrounded him had their brows furrowed because of his laughter.
"Is he crazy?"
"Yeah he probably lost all hope."
"Crazy bastard, let's just kill him."
People started to taunt Lucifer, calling him crazy.
The only one not speaking was Kondo because he noticed a change in Lucifer's aura.
'What was that? I swear I felt an aura that exceeded mine but it immediately disappeared.' Kondo thought inwardly until suddenly Lucifer stopped laughing and pointed his palm to Royal Knight #9, Anna, the girl Shion fought.
Kondo and everyone readied their weapons, including Anna who looked a bit nervous.
'Attract.' Lucifer commanded inwardly.
Suddenly Anna was instantly pulled toward Lucifer by an invisible force.
'What the fuck is going on!?' Anna exclaimed inwardly trying to resist but it was for naught.
Suddenly a staff appeared in Lucifer's hand but it suddenly turned into a sword, once she was close enough, Lucifer took action.
SLASH!
Lucifer slashed his sword instantly once she appeared in front of him.
'Why is the world upside down-'
Before she could even finish her thinking, her head rolled down on the ground.
Silence ensued.
Everyone was stunned at the sudden death of their comrade until they suddenly looked toward Lucifer.
A black aura could be seen calmly pulsating out of Lucifer in waves.
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
The gushes of aura and air would push against the soldier's face, making them put their hands up for protection.
Clouds started to form above them, as if a storm was coming.
As that was happening some sort of slim black armor was slowly materializing on Lucifer, covering him up.
Until he was fully covered with what seemed like a gas mask of some sort.
The staff he obtained connected to his back, while his face was unreadable since it was covered by the mask.
"You guys are so fucked." Lucifer muttered in a Darth Vader-type voice before suddenly disappearing.
ZOOM!
A trail of lighting zipped past Kondo, he barely caught a glimpse of Lucifer.
'Such speed!' Kondo exclaimed inwardly.
He turned around and his was mouth went agape.
In front of him, he could see the bodies of his subordinates flying into the air, not only one but thousands of thousands of soldiers.
A streak of lightning was going straight through his whole army.
"This bastard is targeting the weaker ones." Royal Knight #10 Caspian frowned.
"I'm not sure I can win against that guy." Damrada nervously chuckled beside Kondo while watching the spectacle.
"Shouldn't we stop him!?" Caspian added.
"Be my guest, if you think you can catch up to him." Damrada retorted while shaking his head helplessly.
Back at Lucifer, while he was running everything felt like slow-mo.
While he was running he could see the clueless soldiers trying to find his location before he evaporated them by ramming through them.
SPLAT!
Bodies exploding was the only thing being heard, the soldiers could only wait for their untimely deaths without even being allowed to resist.
'Hmm, let's see how effective this is.' Lucifer suddenly stopped and pulled his staff off his back and tapped it against the ground softly.
DING!
'Eternal Sleep.' Lucifer commanded.
A dinging noise resounded and soon after, some sort of misty gas was covering the entire field.
"What is this gas?"
"Don't inhale it!"
"The gas is poisonous."
Thud!
Thud!
Bodies were constantly dropping.
Soldiers tried to communicate with each other but for some reason, it was impossible not to be affected by the mist.
Bodies would drop as soon as the mist came into contact with them.
Until suddenly the mist was disspelled.
"ENOUGH!"
Kondo exclaimed while swinging his spear in a circular direction, bringing in the mist and dispelling it.
Kondo, Damrada, and Royal Knight #10 Caspian instantly surrounded Lucifer, this time they were much closer.
'Freeze.' Caspian put his hands onto the ground and instantly the ground surrounding Lucifer and them for miles became ice.
'This should slow him down a bit.' Kondo inwardly nodded in approval of Caspian's choices.
'We need to use everything we have.' Kondo added inwardly.
He sent a thought communication to the Empire's control center and Rudra.
[Kondo is this really necessary!?] Velgrynd questioned him through [Thought Communication].
[Yes my lady, this individual's power was growing exponentially somehow but it stagnated now.] Kondo replied.
[Are you sure it isn't just because your weak?] Velgrynd retorted.
[Enough Velgrynd! I shall permit it, Kondo, I will send them soon.] Rudra cut off Velgrynd and gave permission to Kondo.
[Thank You your majesty.] Kondo replied and closed the [Thought Communication], getting ready for battle.
"Oho let's see how strong you really are." Damara added next to Kondo.
Damrada launched at Lucifer with his sword but Lucifer simply dodged to the right.
Whoosh!
The sword whooshed past his left side.
Damrada reversed his grip and brought his sword back to Lucifer's neck.
Lucifer grinned.
CLINK!
Lucifer's staff and Damrada's sword clashed against each other.
"Oh I'll show you how strong I am." Lucifer smirked.

His abilities are mainly based on Herme's myth and skills.
The Caduceus staff is also an actual staff used by Hermes, I can't get the image now since I'm busy so if you want you can search it up.
