Part 04. The Owner of Del Casa
After leaving the Academy, Lia took the carriage and stopped at the first cafe she saw. She sat at one of the tables outside in a daze. She didn't want to go home in this state; besides, it was impossible to have a coherent thought with Ian there.
Lia ordered a lemonade and began mulling over the conversation she had in the Headmaster's office, tapping the table lightly with her fingers.
'The culprit hunts—or preys on—only noble ladies. To capture him, we have to lure him. But as you may already know, the aristocratic families are not letting their daughters outside in fear, so now he's going after children. He's an evil that must be put down.'
'So… You're planning to use someone as bait?'
'Precisely. We were looking for a man who could be convincingly disguised as a lady, but to no avail. That's why we are here asking for the Academy's assistance in this matter.'
