Bab 76: She Who Recalled a Part of Her Past

We dined at Restaurant Sava. The place was near the airport, making it easier for us to get back on the plane. The kids enjoyed the meal. It was rare for them to eat meat that had a very savory taste. 

I watched in amazement, as Nicole enjoyed her first lamb. Grinned the way Claude slowly spooned his first parfait. And melted as Duncan made sure the two were happy. 

The salmon and Cesar Salad I had was filling. But I laughed when Duncan ordered a whole piece of cheesecake for takeout. 

I leaned back in my seat and closed my eyes. My children were comfortably watching. Duncan was once again beside me, working. Colin and Fujin were at the other end of the cabin, working as well. 

I took a deep breath and gave a deep sigh of relief. Duncan must have heard it. He closed his laptop and asked, "Something wrong, lass?"
