Bab 210: A Delirious Ride

"What happened?" Ethan asked Esmeralda. They were returning home. He saw that she was constantly looking out of the window as if she was troubled.

"Would you accompany me for a drink?" Esmeralda asked him. Suddenly, she was feeling suffocated in the car. Everything was fine initially. She had shared a lot with him today and so had he. But suddenly, things started hitting her about how she had shared the deepest part of her heart with him. She could not bear to look at him. It was not that she was scared that he would judge her. It was something she could not pinpoint at.

"Sure, "Ethan did not know why she suddenly asked for a drink but he did not refuse her. It was a long day and they deserved a break. Although the dinner was fun, the exhaustion could be seen on their faces. Perhaps, it was the exhaustion of sharing the truth with each other.

"My friend runs a bar in the area. Let's go there, "Ethan said as he informed the driver about the same.
