Bab 202: Pick her up

The next evening Esmeralda was on the set. Her work ended a few hours ago. Now she was sitting there, all dressed up for dinner with Ethan's business clients. She has chosen a very classy dress for the evening. It was making her look like she had put some effort into the evening without making it look like she had tried too hard to fit in. 

"You look beautiful, "Amber told her. When she came into the room, she saw Esmeralda looking into the mirror. It was as if she was confused about her look. She could tell from Esmeralda's look that the girl had put a lot of effort into it. 

"I thought you already left, "Esmeralda said. She met Amber sometime before and her friend told her that she had another important job and she would be leaving soon. She did not know that Amber had been here all the time.
