Bab 54: Reaction

"Are you still angry?" Ethan asked Esmeralda. Her petite face turned red and he knew that it wasn't just the cold wind falling on her face but the anger shining there. He had to agree that Ivy really had a talent for making anyone mad at her. The girl was fire and whoever tried to control her would surely get burned and he really wondered sometimes how Fox parents handled someone like Ivy and Esmeralda. 

He held her cold hand in his warm one and tried to make her look at him. 

Esmeralda turned to look at him angrily and pulled away the hand that he was holding. "Did this have anything to do with you?"

She had a big intuition that the workshop thing was lie that Ivy was feeding her. As the boss of the company, Ethan might have a hand in it. She knew what kind of person Ivy was. Ivy had no sense of morality and ethics. She wouldn't think before using Ethan and his influence. And the girl had the power of influencing just anyone.
